When Is A Miniature Dachshund Fully Grown?

Miniature Dachshunds come in three varieties: standard, miniature, and toy. Toys are the smallest of all but can still be fully grown; they may not reach their full height until 12-18 months old. Standard Miniature Dachshunds must weigh at least 3 pounds as adults to be considered “full size.”

The “full grown mini dachshund long hair” is not fully grown until it reaches a total weight of about 30 pounds. The miniature Dachshund’s life span can be up to 13 years.
